you to the Great Plains Chapter - SHRM website! 2008
was a great year for our Organization and we definitely made a
difference in so many ways. From our outstanding and
informative monthly presentations to winning the SUPERSTAR
Membership Award, we have certainly set the standard for 2009.
Our goal this year is to take the next step in
enhancing our resources for our members through better
networking opportunities, experience-driven problem solving,
and providing opportunities for your voice to be heard.
In order to
take this next step, we are adding 30 minutes to the front end
of our current monthly meeting schedule (new meeting time will
be from 11:30 – 1:00).
In this 30 minute time frame, we will be serving
lunch, providing that networking opportunity, conduct Chapter
business, and facilitate a discussion from our experienced
membership on a selected problem/question/situation.
The monthly presentation will begin promptly at noon
and we have a great line-up of speakers already in place for
2009.
I’m excited about the difference we can make in 2009. As
you can see, we plan to further grow our organization this
year, but we need your help. We are an organization made up of
members with great talent, and I challenge each of you to
share that talent. Please take time to consider how you can
become a Leader of Great Plains Chapter - SHRM. Though it does
take some personal sacrifice, I am sure you will quickly
realize how much you can make a difference!
