Welcome to the Great Plains SHRM Chapter
The Great Plains Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management was chartered on
June 12, 2002 with 36 members and we are now 67 members strong and growing. Our membership
represents a wide variety of businesses located in Lawton and in surrounding areas,
including Fletcher and Altus. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at the Great
Plains Technology Center in Room 301B in the Worley Seminar Center, Building 300. The
program portion of the meetings begins at 12:00 noon and includes a
60 minute
educational presentation on human resource related topics. Snacks and refreshments are
served at the conclusion of each meeting.
We also have one satellite group, which meets as follows:
Southwest Technology Center in Altus, OK meets the second Wednesday of each month at

We are affiliated with the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM), the world's largest association devoted to Human Resource
